About me

Hello, I am Cameron Klepac, I love architecture, and other stuff.

I enjoy being in architecture, photographing architecture, drawing architecture, designing architecture, writing about architecture, among other things.

I am really passionate about quality housing as it relates to architecture, and the severe lack of it practically everywhere nowadays. I am interested in alternative forms of housing, like ADUs or middle-housing, and how they could solve the ongoing housing crisis.

I have an interest in the role of technology, from prefabrication to Artificial Intelligence, in architecture. I believe that new technologies have the capacity to bring more, better quality architecture to a wider range of people.

Originally, I went to school for civil engineering (and graduated), but I decided that I love architecture too much, so I earned an M. Arch. degree. My education as an engineer has allowed me to appreciate both the technical and the theoretical aspects of design, though I often find myself drawn towards theory, speculation, and creative curiosity. Nevertheless, I always enjoy challenging problem-solving, technical and otherwise.

I practice yoga religiously, I am approximately a Mahayana Buddhist.

My favorite genre of music is Shoegaze.

I take my work very seriously and am highly critical of it. I take my self much less seriously, and am highly critical of it. I want the world to be a more beautiful place.
