Arch 600 – Cafe for College Station, TX

For this project, the studio was tasked with designing a cafe for the TAMU campus in College Station, TX. This project was intended as the introduction to architecture for the studio, and was the first design project that any of us had done. Additionally, the project was part of a mini-semester of two weeks, meaning that the design was more a warm-up to the rest of the graduate program than anything else. This project was designed entirely by hand, and is the only time which I have produced hand-drawn drawings. With that being said, the project serves as a marker of my progress through A&M’s graduate program, showing where I started as a designer.
