About me

Hello, I’m Cameron.

I have always been fascinated by the built environment — its structures, systems, and the ways it shapes day to day life. Much of my passion lies in collaborating with others to create spaces that are beautiful, sustainable, and nurturing.

I began my academic journey in civil engineering, drawn to the precision and logic of structural systems. After completing my undergraduate degree, I felt I was still missing some important fundamentals of design as a practice. I felt a strong pull toward a more social, human-centered design approach, which led me to pursue a Master’s in Architecture. Studying both disciplines has given me a holistic understanding of design—from technical execution to spatial experience—and a deep appreciation for the power of interdisciplinary collaboration in all fields, not just design.

My interests in architecture center on prefabrication and modular design. I am fascinated by the tectonics of buildings and the elegance of systems that make architecture not just functional, but expressive and fulfilling.

Outside of architecture, I am an avid yogi and a devoted practitioner of Diamond Vehicle(Tibetan) Buddhism. I am a certified yoga teacher and hold free classes for the public every month. I also have a deep love for literature and am reading through all 50 volumes of the Harvard Classics as a personal challenge and for an educational foundation in literature. My favorite genre of music is Shoegaze, my favorite art medium is oil painting, and I usually drink four shots of espresso a day.

I desire to make the world a more beautiful and compassionate place.
